| The concept for
organising fully inclusive package tours for South Africans, (and nationals
of Zimbabwe, Namibia & Botswana), first began in 1993, when Peter
Stephenson, the owner and founder of Trade Fair Travel, with over 45 years
travel agency experience, first arranged a group to visit Interkama in
Dusseldorf. Following that success , the Southern African/German Chamber of Commerce and Industry have appointed Trade Fair Travel to be the official tour operator for many other fairs, including Automechanika, Photokina, Bauma, International Hardware Fair, Medica, ISH, ISM, Intermot, IBA, EMO, IMB and Anuga In addition to arranging tours, Trade Fair Travel has become renowned for the ability in booking accommodation throughout Germany. This has become possible because we have built an excellent relationship with many agents, based in Germany, as well as direct contact with Hotel groups and Individual Hotels. Trade Fair Travel is able to cast their net more extensively than most South African based booking agents as a result of this, they are able to offer clients a broader selection of hotels, from 3star to DeLuxe Due to our companies extensive knowledge of Germany we often asked to book other types of travel arrangements, such as Rhine cruises, day trips, city sightseeing, transfers and coach hire.
